This collection of Briggs patterns are from the early 1970s. I know this for certain because that’s when I purchased them from one of those little shops that specialized in needlework. Those were the days!
Be aware that these are common abbreviations used in the United States where Treble (triple) is not the same as Treble in British terms. The Brits Treble stitch is the USA double crochet.
Pineapples are a luxury that I indulge in occasionally and I’m grateful they are imported into the local grocery year round. Embroider a single pineapple or the cornucopias of fruit in cross stitch.
The star and slanting stitch are not that common so give them a try! or it could be that the terms have changed since these were scanned from a vintage booklet.
