Your lovely “Lazy Dayzies” remind me when I was expecting my first baby (70 years ago)
I taught art needle work – from all kinds of counted threads, “jacobean”, needle painting etc.
While I was expecting my baby, my pupils practiced smocking, cross-stitch etc. on the little
garments for my baby.
Now (I am 88) my fourth grand child is on the way. A little girl this time.
Something tells me, I will have to deep up the ‘rusted’ needles.
Thank you for the instigator

Thank you for your lovely free patterns. I haven’t done this kind of embroidery yet (I mainly do cross stitch) but I’m willing to give it a try, hoping I don’t do too bad.

Love the Scotties.

When my son was a baby he had a room with one short wall painted red. The rest were white. There were lots of red tartin things including a pillow or so with white fronts and embroidered Scotties. Wouldn’t these Scotties be sweet on a baby quilt!
What fun to practice stitching on baby items! A little emery cloth should remove the rust from those rusty needles 🙂
