French Knots

A variation on the blanket stitch.

It’s all Greek to me. Invented by Zorba, no doubt.

Nothing to do with watching TV, sofas, or potatoes.  However, this is a heavy stitch.

Reef, snake or a lovely shade of orange?  Knot in this instance.

Try this variation out the next time your project calls for a blanket stitch.

Just plain loopy.

What’s the catch? Nothing fishy going on here.

Have you gotten caught up? Do you start another project before you’ve finished the current one? Nah, nobody does that.

Who knew there were so many different stitches? Interesting way to achieve a diagonal result.

“Fastened down with stitches as nearly invisible as possible.” It’s not called the blind stitch fer nuthin” especially with aging eyes like mine.
