Circus Clown Set Embroidery Patterns
7 patterns of a circus clown doing the days-of-the-week chores of lion taming, juggling, biking and hanging out by the Ferris wheel. Also included in this set are the Sunday through Monday circus style lettering if you wish to add them to your project.

This set and MANY others offered here are from The Workbasket, a popular craft magazine published from the 1930s through the 1990s. They had all kinds of knit and crochet patterns, a little bit of sewing, lots of recipes and embroidery patterns…some were inserts in the magazine and others via mailorder. It’s difficult to date this particular set but probably from the 70s or 80s. I’ve yet to find a vintage pattern that didn’t transfer onto fabric via hot iron. The ink prevails!
Hello Cherie! Perhaps this is an odd question, and you may not have an answer, but I’m curious if you know where this pattern came from, the publisher or such, as I have found myself in possession of this same pattern on its original transfer paper, and I find myself dreadfully curious about it. Thank you for any help!
