Many of these colonial women patterns were designed for pillowcases as the central motif with trailing flowers on each side of her to fill in the width. There are plenty of floral motifs on this site so be creative and add your own flair to the little lady!
In this household most of the ‘wind” at our back is generally emanating from the lower extremities. She looks like a nice girl but not in the picture is the boyfriend walking a few paces ahead.

All three of these were designed for pillowcases. Follow the instructions for printing (noted on the pattern) and for the one with bow be aware that it barely fits the page. If you run into problems eliminate the margins in the printer software and keep the “original size” setting. I’ve left some of the daisies
