Ta da! You’ve reached the namesake for this site. Anytime you run across some little dots in a pattern this is the stitch to use. However, it does make a knot on top of the fabric and sometimes you may want something more subtle. I use a teeny tiny cross stitch to accomplish this.

I don’t know why she swallowed a fly. Perhaps she was getting in tune with this stitch. Or maybe she found the fly while she was on the wall.

Ya know that pretty eyelet lace trim that is made by machine? Well, this is where you make those pretty eyelets but by hand. One eyelet at a time. Might take awhile.
