Baby Diaper Soaker – Free Knitting Pattern

Here’s a free pattern for a knitted diaper soaker to knit up in wool. Wool is absorbent and anti-bacterial and doesn’t have to be washed constantly. Coat with lanolin and it’s good to go! Knitted Diaper Shaped Soaker Abbreviations: K (knit) p (purl) sts (stitches) tog (together) inc (increase) Gauge: 6 sts equal 1 inch

Most of the patterns are for embroidery but I do plan on expanding the quilting and crochet collection and adding knitting patterns………. my other favorite craft obsession. They are all vintage, copyright-free, with some dating back to the 1800s. Print them out, trace them with a hot iron transfer pen or trace them directly onto fabric using a sunny window or a lightbox. A cheap and easy lightbox can be simply fashioned by putting a lamp under a glass table and stacking the pattern and fabric on the glass. I use kid’s fine point crayola markers for tracing the lines but any washable pen will do just fine.

All the patterns are free and from my personal collection. You may download the embroidery patterns by clicking on the image and saving to your computer. You may use them for stitching items for personal use or for items that you intend to sell. You may not assemble them in a collection as I have on this site to give away or sell digitally (CD, website, etc.) Those of you that intend to digitize the images for machine embroidery either for personal use or commercially are free to do so as the work in digitizing is your own!
