These are outside what is considered normal for embroidery patterns. The pipe scene was included with some Father’s Day patterns and the woman in the chair is supposed to represent “Whistler’s Mother.”

My husband is also of Dutch descent so the Dutch designs are close to my heart as well. Sorry the windmill didn’t work out for you.
I was actually looking for a pattern for a cross-stitch windmill – my husband is of Dutch descent, first generation South African. I love your design even though I cannot use it!
