French Knots

Knights in white satin…ok, maybe not. This is a stitch for filling in the blank space inside the outline. Very time consuming which is why I prefer the quickie method of applique using solid or patterned fabric and use the outline or split stitch around it.

Another not-so-common embroidery stitch.
